dash lights!

Me Again!! New question? 98' ZX2. Yesterday as i was driving at night the car was running fine and then when i put my foot on the brake, the dash lights started flickering. Now it does it every time I have the lights on and press the brakes. I'm thinking there is a short but I don't know how to go about looking for it without spending $17 on a haynes manual because I am trying to get rid of the car and ironically enough that is when this stuff starts going on! Any help on wire colors to look for, online wiring diagrams, pdf file anything would help!! If not I will break down and go out and buy a haynes manual. THANK YOU!
