Hello every1! I have a 92 Ultra and I had 20" rims on it. Everything was fine until one day the back of the car went down. I had every1 get out of the car and I turned it off. The compressor kicked in and the car went back up. Same thing happened over and over. I couldn't put no weight in the back. I could drive with 2 in the front but that was it. I then took off the rims and the orignal tires tucked in so it didn't matter to me. But finally, one day the back went down and never came up. Ever since then the compressor doesn't turn on any more. I don't have a clue wat's wrong! :screwy:

Can some1 help me pleeeaaaassssssseeeeeeeee??????????

First, your struts are more than likely leaking.:disappoin You will need to replace them! Next, after the compressor runs so many cycles trying to keep the "leaking struts" inflated, it will blow the fuse. After you replace the rear struts, you can replace the fuse. I hope that the compressor is not damaged.:crying:
You can do a Search Forums (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/search.php)for ALC, or rear air struts, for more info.:smokin:

I made a ridiculously detailed thread several months back when I replaced my rear air struts. If you plan on doing yours, I suggest you read that thread, or at least check it out for some info.

Do you know where I can find the fuse?:screwy: Under dash on drivers side. It is fuse #12 - 20 amp :p
BTW: Here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=462398) is the link mentioned by DioGreer, that provides an excellent detailed procedure for replacing the rear struts on a 91 PA. This is very good info to have, before you try to do the replacement.:grinyes:

Most people use Monroe SensaTrac struts on PA's, including me. You can get them @ Advanced, Pep Boys & O'Reilly Auto Parts. Price varies by dealer, so call or check websites for pricing. Usually, RockAuto (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/catalog.php)will have the best price.
