Sensor problems?

I have a 92' 180sx with a 96' SR20det, if i drive the car anything but cruising, it feels like the fuel supply has been cut, even on a long drive on the highway it will stop, i pull over for 2 mins and then it will drive again for another 10mins. It seems to do this on hot days, and the car temp doesnt even reach half way, any idea where i start? Also cuts out around right hand corners, may not be related.

Cutting out around right handers i beleive to be a weak fuel pump before the surge tank so it may not be keeping it full, i thought this might be the same for my main problem of it cutting out if i try to race it, but i travelled the same amount of time and distance at night with no problems, when the earlier trip during the day it stopped like 10 times. Since i am new to 90+ model cars i dont know dick about all these fancy sensors, i would appreciate any ideas....cleaned all fuel filters so far, so count that out:screwy:
