How do I change the fuel filter on my 2001 kia sephia?

you need to remove the back seat bottom (it should pull right out, this will expose the fuel pump access). then start the car and disconnect the electrical lead from fuel pump and let engine die, now your fuel system is vented, this should minimize fuel spraying when you unhook lines. the filter is under the car about mid-way between engine compartment and fuel tank (i forget which side of car it's on), all you need to do now is remove a couple of mounts and disconnect the fuel lines, then put a new one in and reconnect your fuel pump and you're ready to go.
