what is the difference between integra typeR and integra GS-R, i know the difference is in hp but does typeR has supercharger or something because the difference between those two is just about 15 hp. im not talking about the brand new model of integra or RSX they call it now but im talking about the 97 98 models, typeR is about 195hp and gs-r is about 180hp so i dont know what the difference is , is it just the engine that is better or the engine is just built stronger and please explain what it is, tx a lot for u time

actually..the GSR has 170hp at the crank. and no. the type R does not have a supercharger. the difference is that the type R engine uses higher compression pistons, has facrory port and polish, better intake manifold, better cams, and other little things....also it will rev to 8400RPM instead of the GSR's 8000

R is also a limited edition...
comes with special badges, seats, dash, and so on..
also a much better sounding exhaust system...

GSR is the performance AND luxury version of integra,
where ITR is strictly performance...no leather, no A/C
