cavalier/sunfire won't start- fixed

I have had this problem with my 2000. First it intermittenly wouldn't start then one day it was dead. After digging around I found this article that took care of the no start problem. The ignition switch (the electrical part) had gone bad. This is a fairly easy repair and this article will walk you right through it. in hindsight, wasn't there a recall on that?

Yes, I did the recall but it didn't fix the problem. It only stops the steering column from starting on fire.
