Hey folks, can anyone tell me how tough it is to replace the front door lower speakers in a 95 EX 2dr with the JBL sound system? THere are panels that look removable, but don't want to pry them out for fear of breaking something off.
Any help?

I found out they do pop off, grab the bottom towards the front and pull towards you.

you can just pop off the pannels but that wont get you very far... you must actually remove the door pannels to get the aftermarket ones in there securly... just did this like a month ago... dont worry its not hard at all.. just take off your door handle and your window switches... that lil thing overing the corner thats plastic <just pry out ward at the top>... then just pull off the door pannel from the bottom and slip up... and there ya go.

it will seem like you're going to break the panel....but you'll be fine as long as you don't wiggle it too much. It's an easy install.

Yeah guyz... it's a very easy install. That speaker panel pops right off... but if you still don't have enough room to work in there (or if you have seperates you'd like to hide in a component speaker set) just take the door panel off. It is really easy.
I recommend running down to a local used book store and pick up a copy of a Haynes Manual for your car. I found mine for $5 and it can help you answer some of the easier questions you might have. Instructions come in numbered steps with pictures. It's not the best manual out there... but for $5 bucks used... it's worth it for the easier stuff. You'll be able to figure it out before ever having to ask us. ;)
