car died.....please help

hey guys, heres the deal, I just installed CAI and changed the distributor cap and rotor the past sunday. The car worked fine that night and the following morning, but when I tried to start it in the afternoon, it just wouldn't start. The engine sounds like its trying to start but it just doesn't turn over. I don't know whats wrong with it, what do u guys think? Help.......

does your car crank over or it doesn't do a thing? if it cranks over but doesn't catch change your plugs and fuel filter if that doesn't work disconnect the big fuel line that goes into the side of the fuel rail and have someone crank the engine if nothing comes out it may be the fuel pump. if gas comes out then something may either be clogged or its another problem. if its not clogged do a spark test by sticking a screwdriver in the spark plug boot (make sure the handle isn't metal or anything else that conducts eletricity) and hold it very close to a ground point and crank the engine there should be a bright blue spark when the engine turns over. if not then you gotta check you ignition system, check your disributor cap, igniton rotor, your ignition coil and other parts of your igniton system. if it doesn't crank over then the only thing i can say is either a dead battery or a bad starter.
