Headlight Oven Method

I want to try the oven method on my headlights and want to know the exact amount of time I should leave them in for and how long. LX98civic said he left them in @ 245 for 7 min. Does anyone else that did it have a time or temp? Should the oven be preheated?

I think you're supposed to keep the oven door open too

You don't even know what I'm doing. You shouldn't have talked.

The correct way:

1) warm up oven to 200 degrees
2) place headlight on a tray
3) put headlight in oven for 10-15 minutes
4) break open headlight
5) do next headlight

To put everything back together do the above in reverse order.

"reverse order" would have you putting the headlight back into the oven after you've fixed it, which would essentially never accomplish anything because for the light to be fully back together it'd have to cool. Sticking it in the oven would only further prevent it from cooling. So therefore, dont go in reverse order :D :D :D

And yes, I'm a smartass
