Stereo Problem

Hello, I am new to this forum. When I turn my head lights on my 1997 Sunfire GT the stereo gets louder. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Sounds like the automatic volume adjust on the stereo itself,turn it off.The headlight part I don't get though.
