HELP!!! 1995 electrical problems???
I have a 1995 Trans Sport that ran fine and then all of a sudden has a lot of problems that i am hoping are all linked.
-Tach/speedometer dont work
-Blower front or rear dont work
-ABS light on
-Traction control light on
-Low gas light on
-power windows dont work
-at full throdle its slow
-radio works sometimes not others
-Chms when lights are on
-auto door not working and a few other problems
is the ECU bad and its in limp mode, bad ground, abs module bad? i checked the relays and fuse to no luck so anyhrlp would be great... THANKS...

Now a lot of items there are straight 12V wire dependant...no ECU involved.
I suppose you have checked relays in the convenience center, below/behind glove box...but I rather lean on the side of your own suggestion: ground . ..... But begin with the beginning....make sure the battery contacts are scraped of all corrosion...and I mean scraped.
Does the car crank normally on starter?
If you turn the lights ON (engine not running) ...are they normal ?
Try to run a new solid ground connection from some good body ground point to engine to battery.....

"no windows, no door locks, no starting
My car had the problem with the fuel pump quitting when I tried to use the power windows. I found the problem to be a bad ground in the driver side kick panel. I cleaned the terminal, and the problem continued. I finally decided to run a dedicated wire from the battery to the terminal. This completely cured the problem. I've had no further problems with the car stalling."

I don't think this is caused by a ground.
The van's engine starts and runs great.
The main problem besides all these accessories not working is
the transmission does't shift. It does go in reverse.
But in Drive I think it is in 3rd or 4th only.
So to start from standing still it takes off slowly as it goes faster it seems
to drive more like normal and cruises at 50-60 MPH smoothly.
But tranny never shifts.
Had drove this and all accessories and tranny worked fine and
then about 2 hours later started it up and this is how it is.

I agree it can be something else: check for proper 12V feed: the 12V connector near the power brake - normally covered with a red plastic cap - needs being checked clean and tight. Has been reported a culprit in past posts.
Then if problem not cleared, checking ground is easy and this issue must be cleared for sure before looking for more complicated items.
Make a voltage measurement between a solid body (firewall) ground and engine ground when running items like heater fan, try power sindows and the like. THe voltage differential should stay very close to zero, may be a few tenths of a volt. Measure same voltage measurement on some ground wire, I,d chose some sensor ground like the coolant temperature sensor ground..the one with 2 wires..which ground is connected to ECU ground.

Do you think the TRANNY not shifting out of 3rd or 4th gear is related to
the electrical symptoms? That might lead me in the right direction.
I think it might because everything went at once.
Or is the van not shifting because the electrical problems put it in LIMP HOME
mode?

There are two solenoids that make 1st and 2nd when they are alternately energized.

WHen they are BOTH off, this is 3rd gear......
