JDM vs Wings West

I have a 99 civic hatchback and wanted to get a type-r spoiler for it. I was wondering if there is any difference (aside from the brake light) between a jdm type-r spoiler and the wings west one. Is there any difference in the shape or how it looks? From the pictures I found, it looks like the wings west one points upward at an angle more than the jdm one. Am I wrong?
