I have been having a problem with my turn signals, and someone told me to replace the electronic flasher, which I just bought for $4.
But i don't have a manual so can someone tell me where to find it?
It is not in the fuse box panel on the driver side of the dash.
If this doesn't work, someone suggested i splice the ground onto the fender (find a metal screw to use). I already replaced the bulbs and cleaned the sockets. Sometimes the left rear directional works;sometimes it doesn't and its makin me nuts. Any help would be surely appreciated (along with your thoughts on the flasher, splice/ground, etc). Problem is only with the left rear directional, by the way. Thanks so much.

the flasher is behind the dash
you can get to it from underneath it is above the drivers left foot toward the outside of the car.
It is plugged in a purple colored box in mine.
However it sounds like a ground wire since it is only one light.
Does it come on and just not flash? or is it not on at all?
I had problems with mine and had to repair the grounds under the battery on the chassis and replace the sockets on the front side lights, they flashed real slow

thank you for taking the time to help me. since my post, i cleaned out the socket with electronic cleaner and then installed a new bulb with bulb grease, and it seems to be better (is no longer flashing real fast and so far is working properly). i will check the battery ground and probably replace the flasher now that i know where it is (why not since I already have it??).
again, thanks for taking the time to help me. am most grateful.
