window problem, please help!

Okay guys, I"m new, my passenger window is stuck down. I have the replacement motor, and I know I need to drill out the freaking rivets, but my window is in the way(it's down all the way) How do I get the window up or out of the door so I can drill the rivets holding the motor in? I looked at the tabs on the bottom of the window, but am afraid if I just start bending or whatnot that I will break the glass($$$) Anybody else have this problem, or know how to get the window out safely. Or just a way to "roll" the window up? Help PLease! I"m going insane!!!
BTW, it's a 98 sc2 if that helps any...

The track on the glass should have screws in it. If you unscrew it you can remove the glass without breaking it. If not, good luck.
