Alarm installation

I have a 1991 Pathfinder I just bought a prestige alarm system and had a 'professional' install it. The remote start will only start after the third start and when the alarm is armed it will only lock the three passenger doors and not the driver door. His excuse is that for the remote starter this 91 pathfinder has a cold start and that is what causes the delay. As for the door lock he said the Nissan does not install a actuator in these models and that is the reason the driver's door will not lock with the remote. What can I do?
