Axle locked-up

My 94 s10 does not want to move. Rear wheels seemed to be locked. I can hit all gears, but car will not move.

jack up the rear axle and put it on jack stands and take off the tires , try and pull the drums off , sometimes it does take a little bit of pursuasion , but if they wont budge one bit , the e-brake cable is probably bound up or soemthing to that effect , if the dums come off easy and the brake looks ok, pull off the diff cover and see if anything in there is munched

Before you pull the diff cover off I would pull the drive shaft just to make sure that it in in the diff.

WT is probably right though, it's probably in the brakes somewhere

Thanks, It was the brakes. Had a hard time getting the drums off, installed new shoes now I'm trying to adjust them.
