radio changeout 2000 SL2

I need to replace the stock radio/CD in a 2000 SL2. Looks like there is
a single plastic trim strip going around the radio/climate controls/instrument cluster. Don't see any screws or fasteners. Does this just pry off, or is there a trick for removing it without damage?

you have to take off the climate control panel to get the plastic piece off.
