i am trying to replace water pump on my 95 chevy blazer w/v6 and a/c/ , but cant get the d&%! fan clutch off the pump and dont wanna pull the alternator to make room to get the fan&pump out intact. took out bolts from fan clutch as well as the ones holding fan onto clutch. do i have to beat on this thing or pry on it or what? help! trying to save money but i'm beginning to wonder!

Put the belt back on, use a ratchet and socket to hold the alternator pully, then using a 13mm box wrench and a hammer, tap the 4 fan bolts counter clockwise.
