Yeah, plugs and wires? Not sure if they would help, but I think they might a little. With this stuff you will see a small boost in MPG, but the intake/exhaust would cost too much to get your money back at the pump. Dont fall for those "Turbonator" and "Cyclone" type things, they arent shit.

Keeping your car well maintained, particularly the intake, ignition, and emission systems, and laying off the the lead foot are likely your best options. Most mods will either add nothing to your MPG or take it down.

Pour injector cleaner in your gas tank every once in a while and replace your air filter regularly.

anothing thing that keeps arising and im still curious and researching is the use of acetone in with the fuel. anybody know the specifics on this situation? My thought is that if aceton easily adds 15-35% MPG like many of the sites claim, why haven't the automakers or oil companies start to add it as an addative? Petroleum is a cutthroat business as it is. Anything that would give you a leg up on your competition they would do.
Looking over some of the reported benifits from using Aceton makes me think that people want it to work, so it "works" for them. They adjust their driving habits so reduce stop-and-go driving, lay off the gas a little, etc. Give me a double blind test or a genuine controlled scientific labratory test and then I might believe a litt.e

i dont know about fuel injector cleaner, but fuel system cleaner works wonders, it costs about 4 times as much but boy its worth it, i was having "loss of power troubles" with my plymouth reliant, so i changed the fuel and air filters, that did nothing, then i poured in the bottle of fuel system cleaner and i dont even think i drove it 10 minutes and i nearly shit my pants with the increase in power, before, when you floored it from a complete stop it kinda stuttered (like it wanted to die) then it took off, after the bottle, when i floored it, the tires screeched like hell, no stuttering, no engine almost dying, a complete night and day difference,
