I have a 98 Stratus with about 150k miles on it. Never had any problems until a few weeks ago. I had a blowout on the bottom radiator hose. The engine overheated and stut down. I replace the hose and the engine ran fine for a week and then the check engine light came on. I ran it for a few more days and lossed power and then seen alot of smoke come from the exaust the engine shut down and would not start. After checking the engine I noticed the knock sensor was melted in half. I replaced sensor and the engine will not start I checked the spark plugs an they seem to get spark. The fuel pump is ok. Do I need to reset the computer or something? My brother thinks its the coil pack how do I test it? I'm also thinking about replacing the starter relay. Any thoughts?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

what color smoke from exhaust? if its white you blew a head gasket, if its blue you might have major problems, if you over heated pretty good chances are you blew a head gasket, that might have something to do with your problem

yeah, he's right. If the knock sensor was melted, then you seriously overheated and it won't start now b/c your cylinder compression(s) is too low to turn over.
