camshaft hell help =(

My camshaft just recently broke think from a shady mechanic who tried to rip me off so thought i found a one in a junkyard and the arm shaft wont fit on think the cam was from a 92 civic and i made the mistake of not realizing i have a 93 dohi have a when taking it out from the junkyard engine looked the sam e and my cam gear fit on it fine did i mess up my arm shaft or does the arm of a 93 not compatible with the 92? or would the arm assembly from the 92 work? i just want to scream spent days trying to do this and get my crank pulley off for timing belt any help would be much obliged need car for work and cant work or afford a mechanic =(

It'd depend on what model it is. The years shouldn't matter but the engine will...
DX's and LX are the same, Si and EX's are the same, VX and CX are different on their own.
Definently use an air tool on that pulley, it'd be insanely hard to do it by hand. And there's a tool you can use to get it off too.

wellmy car model is dx pretty sure the other car was a dx inoticed a couple of diffrent markings on the cam shaftbut the arms dont seem to fit gonna get the junk cats arms think i might of messed these ones up cant get the arms to go back over the chasis and one screw hole hos almost lost the thread from trying to make it fit yeah definately need a air gun tried torqueeeeeeing it with a seven foot pole still no budgee do you know what the tools called for taking it off / thanks for the reply by the way =)
