Intake Problem

I have a '95 2.2l Sunfire. I just got my intake in from RDFabs and I have a problem installing it.

My stock air system has two things plugged into into it, the IAT sensor and something else that comes from the valve cover that isn't the PCV valve.

My question is, did they mess up on my intake, or what do I need to do to get this installed.

Yeah, the one on the right side. I already know about the PCV valve as I've had to replace that.

whats on the other end? is it a connector or just a hose that goes to the intake hose?

my best guess is its just another vent for the valve cover.. nothing too serious.. maybe put an inline k&n filter if your worried about it.. it prolly just runs some fumes through the engine for better emissions.

Ok, according to my haynes manual it is the Fresh air intake, part of the PCV system, I think I should find some filter at autozone that will fit on there as I would be uncomfortable leaving it unfiltered.

Ha Ha.... thanks for the laugh. That made my day right there... Somone above got it right though about being apart of the PCV system. Just slap a breather filter on there, and you'll be set.

Yeah, I did go the way of the breather.

But today my car was hit by some idiot driving a boat of a car, so now my drivers side door doesn't open and the car feels wrong, probably gonna need a new one now.

so I may have a short ram intake with the K&N filter and a breather for someone looking to buy one that was used for a couple months.
