how do u know if an engine is ok to run? where i live u dont get guarantee when u buy an engine, they are very easy to find, cause they come directly from japan from salvation junkyards and i know this engines aren't storaged safely during the shiping and are not cleaned properly, but dont come cheap, so i want to know what to look for when i buy a new engine, like if theres a way to notice piston wear and stuff.

no warranty. expensive. and never been tested. well, in this case i would:

bring everything you need to do a leakdown test, or, buy from a seller who is proven, has great customer service, and most of all, backs his product up with a startup warranty...................[hints] hmotorsonline [hints]
