Here are some pics from paragon. I sustained minor body damage when a tree stump jumped in my way. Then a big ass rock had its way with my brushguard.

This was the only trail that me and Will couldn't make it up due to really loose gravel.

This is what that damn tree did to my door.

Looks better without the brushguard anyway.

It was kinda hard to get pics since it was just the three of us and we were pretty much constantly driving. Let me know sometime when you want to go up. Did you ever hear anything else from that guy in Camp Hill??

No i didnt, he stopped emailing me the day i pm'd you, I know he is looking to buy a house so maybe he is busy. I will probably try contacting him soon. what trails did you go on, since i see you dented your door, thats the only thing that worries me about going up there. My truck is my daily driver and I am just buying a house now, so i dont want to cause myself to spend anymore money than i have to.

You don't have to repair a dent like that if you don't want to ;)

well if i buy shrockbars i guess i wouldnt have to worry about it, i wish buying a house wasnt so painful on the wallet.

Jeff, did you do the PML on your truck or did you do something else, i have been thinking about doing it, but dont want to do it without someone who knows how to do it there with me.

For right now all I did was a PML. I'm putting my 2" BL on next Saturday (along with my 33's) and after that, I am ordering SLR econo UCA's and 2" shackles.

I can help you do the PML if you want. I didn't do mine cause at the time, I didn't have anytime to do. It's not difficult, as long as there is an air compressor available. Just let me know and hopefully we can schedule something.

That dent is a trail scar. I wear it with pride. The only reason I hit it is because I was going uphill in mud on a real tight "S" turn. My truck just slid right into it. Definitly if I would've had my sliders, it wouldn't have been that bad. Now my brushguard, that a different story. That boulder just tore the bottom of the guard up. He didn't like the guard being on my truck anyway!! :iceslolan

Don't worry about messing you truck up at ECXC. There is always a way around a trail you don't want to take. Even it there isn't, there are great spotters going to be there. I was in some situations that Mike and Will got me out of because of being a good spotter. Just take it easy and drive smart/careful.

Have you checked out www.maxc.org yet?? If not, check it out.

I know i asked you before, when is the ECXC?? I was looking at maxc.org but did not register yet. I dont know how soon i will have the free time to spend to do the pml, maybe august or september once i move into my new house, i guess its only like $50 for the shackles, its just a matter of finding the time. I do want to get shrockbars though too....my wallet is going to hate me. :)

East Coast Xterra Challange (www.ecxc.com (http://www.ecxc.com)).

As far as the the PML, I'd do the AAL's before I'd do the shackles. The shackles alone potentially will make your stock springs start to sag. The AAL's are $150 and the shackles are $75 from SLR.

I just bought my first house in May 2004. I feel your pain about really hitting the wallet. But I just refinanced and dropped my house payment $100. I went from 8.875% to 5.625%.

that sucks thats the weekend i am moving into my house.....i guess next year maybe i will have to try to attend. I joined maxc last night, i read the one thread about the pml, how most people were saying to do the aal instead of the shackles.....I have a little while to decide, plus i really dont want to void any of my warranties since i only have 5,000 miles on my truck. I think the first thing i might get is the shrockbars that way i have some armor for the sides.

are you going to put any skids on it?? Mehdi (KillerX) say something awhile back that he was going to sell his whole set. Might want to check with him if you plan on doing skids.

i was planning on skids, not sure how soon....depends on the price i guess, i almost got a set of skid row ones 2 months ago from one of the other board members that lives in carlisle, but i was starting to save for the house.
