I know I've read on here about rust, esp on the hatch. I have an 03 and It is starting to get little rust spots where sand and such have been sprayed on the back. Which is really crazy for a truck this new. I was wondering if anyone has tried 3M's protection film?:

Seems like it would be a good low cost solution... so long as it stays stuck.
