o2 sensor problemB18CIVIC1997 03-08-2005, 04:25 PM Sooo as it turns out, my primary o2 sensor is bad. i lost 50 miles per tank, and my car is running pretty shisty. I call up advance auto parts, they want $700+ for it, auto zone wants around $500 and napa is about the same, the dealer only wants $450. the problem is, im on a limited budget and i cant afford to pay that much. im assuming that other people on this forum have had this problem so i was just wondering where i could get one cheap. Ive tried 3 diff junkyards in the area and none of them carry any. i did a quick search of the forums and nothing turned up. for the record i drive a 1997 civic HX. thanks GScivic7 03-08-2005, 04:51 PM ebay. You can find OEM Denso 02 sensors for around $50-100. sohcfreak97 03-08-2005, 07:28 PM I Suggest Going Oem From The Dealer...those Aftermarket Ones Aren't The Best...kinda Pricy For An O2...but Then Again I Get Parts For Cost Not List superbluecivicsi 03-08-2005, 10:19 PM i bought my brand new universal denso for $34.99. still working for being used over 2 years. sohcfreak97 03-08-2005, 11:46 PM they work...but from experience...oem replacement parts are the best for your car... GScivic7 03-09-2005, 02:13 AM Denso is high quality, no need to worry about it. superbluecivicsi 03-09-2005, 12:09 PM Denso is high quality, no need to worry about it. i second that. B18CIVIC1997 03-09-2005, 01:06 PM i appreciate the advice. damn 5 wire sensors cost an arm and a leg. a 4 wire costs about $200 less superbluecivicsi 03-09-2005, 06:38 PM vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
