Has anyone done a 00 to 02 front end conversion?

I want to do a 02 conversion on my 00 xterra just wondering if anyone has done it yet? I am guessing all I need is the front bumper, hood, grill, and lights. Anything I'm leaving behind? I think the fenders will fit.. and the parts should just bolt on.... right? And the wiring for the lights should be the same or does it require a different plug? Well hopefully someone has done this before.. if not I will let you guys know how mine turns out, if i do it... thanks!!!

Not sure if you'll be able to bolt it right on but you'll deffinetly need new fenders as well...

Wow. That's a lot of work for round headlights and a bulge in the hood.

You don't need new fenders, they are the same for both styles. New hood, grille, bumper, and quite possibly upper and side radiator supports.

Just a thought. But why not do these aftermarket fenders, hoodscoop.

thanks for the input... Some guy in my area is selling the front end to me for dirt cheap. So I was just wondering how much it would cost total on everything I need (extra parts/paint). Do you guys know if the safari front grill fits the same for both 00 and 02 models? He has a grill that I was considering buying if It fits... Thanks!

Most likely the bumper needs a bit of cutting to make it fit (search) since there was a change between the '00 and '02.
