96 steering & noise issues

When I put my 96' pathfinder into drive and start to accelerate it makes a loud screaming/screeching noise,the harder I push down on the accelerator the louder the noise becomes until it stops usually when MPH hits anywhere from 30-50 Any ideas what that may be?? In addition the steering is extremely loose & after new tires & an alignment it is still all over the road Any suggestions would be helpful Thanks!

My money is on a loose power steering belt.

the screeching might be your timing belt, not 100% sure
