Cold Start Problem

I have a 2000 Protege and when it is cool it takes a lot to get it started. I wants to turn over but it just wont. Eventually after some time it will finally turn over. Any ideas on the problem?

Might want to take it somewhere and get the starter checked out. Its worth a shot.

Could be the battery. My '91 had problems starting, and it wa the battery. Got A new one and it hasnt had any problems.
