okay i have a 99 eclipse gst 5-speed
bought the car 2 weeks ago. never given me a problem till today. last night was the coldest night we've had yet. and man it was cold
my car won't start with out giving it gas, keeping the tac about like 2k rmps. once started it will NOT idle in nutural, with clutch in or out doesn't matter, you have to give it gas and keep the rmps up. same thing at stop lights. i warmed the car up drove to work all warm, still did it, filled up with gas, still did it.
also i had my system installed yesterday, so i thought that might be the problem. nope, i took out the fuse and took off the face plate, made no difference.
when accelterating in 1st, the car light can barlye move itself, even when giving it gas, just takes for ever to get the rmps up. and then all of a sudden boom!!! like the fuel kicks it and i peel out and it accellerates like normal.
please help me!! i'm under warrenty but it doesn't cover the fuel system. i have no idea what would do this

update**************** and fix
problem was NOT alternator, or anything to do with my system.
i took the air filter, and the BOV just fell out of its hose. i was amazed. the filter was very very dirty, so i cleaned it up. tightened all the clamps on the hoses for the intake and bov
keep in mind my car is all stock
now problem is fixed. it was a huge boost leak.
