2000 explorer idle air

My idle air control stuck in the closed postion. Will this generate a check engine light. I managed to free it, and it seems to be working ok. Is there a way to pull codes by cycling the ignition?

if anything it causes a engine start problem.

when you have problems keeping it running or started thats what the problem is prolly gonna be.

its usally during cold start.
