repacement plastic carpet clips

Hey folks,

I keep breaking those plastic clips that secure the carpet to the back of the rear seats. When I fold the seats down for storage space I break them by putting gear in and out of the car.

I went to the dealer and I was given a very similar part but it is a little different style that the originals. The new ones dont lock in place as the originals did.

Im not sure if I am using the wrong part or if the original part has been replaced by this less effective part.

If anyone has had a similar problem, please let me know.

If anyone knows the correct repacement part #, that would be a big help.

Which ones? There are a few large ones, and several smaller ones.
Larger ones are 88797-7Z000.
Smaller ones have at least 4 variations until my software is valid (1/02-issued), all are 01553-
-07031 is 5/99-10/99, supposedly 12/vehicle
-0044U is 10/99-2/00, supposedly 14/vehicle
-01251 is 2/00-7/00, 12/vehicle
-01861 is 7/00-(at least)1/02

Thanks for the info, I think they are the larger ones.

I have my dealer trying to get them for me.
