Keyless Programming Brain

I have a 1995 Pathfinder XE, and I'm in need of the keyless programming module that's located under the drivers seat. It seems as if it's common for this module to go out and the Nissan dealership says Nissan has stopped making them and I can't find a new one anywhere. I'm hesitant to buy one from a wrecking yard as they cannot guarantee it works. Any ideas anyone ? Thanks.
