P0300 Code on 2000 Trooper

What are some common causes of the P0300 Cylinder Misfire code? I put Nippon Denso K16PR-P11 plugs in about 30,000 miles ago. I did have the EGR replaced and the EGR tube cleaned recently. Is there any reason to think these may be connected?
The Check Engine light blinks when I accelerate when I first start the vehicle, but goes away after I stop the engine and restart it later.
I thought I would remove the plugs and check them before I go ahead and order replacement plugs.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
LEM

Your Intake Manafold gasket has a leak which causes a missfire code. If you are the first owner it is covered for 120k. If you are the second owner you are covered for 60k.
This a a very common issue with Isuzu's.
