My Shift Knob?

This is ridiculous, I have a 1997 Honda Civic EX, that I just bought like....2 days ago.
Its a 5spd, and it came with the ugliest aftermarket shift knob that autozone has to offer, so I overnighted a ractive black leather shift knob w/white hotwire led from crutchfield and I installed it.
they gave me these peices of plastic to slip over the stick, and put the knob on top of, and screw in with threading screws. I did that, and as I was coming down the road today...the screws backed themselves out.
So I rescrewed it, and went out again, same thing happen.
is there anyway I can fix this? it is seriously irritating.

locktite = is your best bet on keeping those screws in there. your local paintball shop or auto store should have it in stock.
