Smittybilt Nerf Bars - Install Questions

I just bought a pair of Smittybilt Nerf Bars for my '91 Pathfinder.
Has anyone else had any experiences (good or bad) with these bars?
How long does the install take? Can you please confirm whether or not you need to drill into the frame to install? Are there any issues with mounting the back portion of the bar to the rear spring hanger?
