Speedometer Problem

I have a 89 Maxima. While driving the speedometer needle will go from zero to 125 and stay there until I turn the engine off, then it will go back to zero.

I replaced the speed sensor, but the problem still exist. Any suggestions?

....i think there must be some kind of short circuit...good luck....!!
