Shift Light Help

Hello

I am presently turning a 1988 5spd Cavalier into a racecar. I Would like to hook up a shift light but can't figure out which wires to use. I have figured out two of the wires which a Tan/black and Pink/Black but that doesn't turn the light on when I get up to speed. Any Suggestions

wtf a 1988 into a "racecar". it's hard enough to turn a new cavi into a "racecar" so good luck with that.hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

Sorry JeffCava, I couldn't tell ya. Im sure there is someone on here that knows though, just be patient. BTW, have any pics of your car? Id like to see it:)
