Interested in a Kia Spectra

I've been reading posts around, and I'm very interested in purchasing a Kia Spectra. I was hoping for a 2001-2003, but I have no idea on prices or anything, I haven't really looked yet. Any suggestions or comments on what I should do? Anything I should know about them? Anything you guys have to say would help a lot! Thanks

Spectras are the best bang for the money, i have had mine for about a year, i bought it used and the only problem was when the fuel pump went bad and that was my fault because i always drove around with the fuel tank almost empty for about that whole year and that made the fuel pump to overheat, aftermarket support is almost non-existent but a few things can be done to this cars, mine soon will be in the low 15's in the 1/4 :-D
