Squeeking From Drivers Side

ok my bro has a 97 discovery se...

whil driving at low speeds it starts making a squeeking noise from what sounds like the driver side tire...i could be wrong....but anyways, itz the sound like when ur brake pads have worn and are rubbing on the rotor...but the brakes are new and the rotors are fairly new...itz odd b/c it happens while driving....wondering if u guys can help me out on this problem

Have him check the bearings. If he turns to the right (putting pressure on the driver's side tire) the noise will get worse if it's the bearings. If it doesn't seem to get worse when he does that, I would say that there is probably dirt or dust between the pad and the rotor. Sometimes it gets in there and embeds itself in cheap pads. Where did he get the pads from? Are they the stock LR pads or are they some cheap aftermarket ones? If it's dirt in there, sometimes you have to take off the pad to remove it and clean them. Good luck with it, and let us konw what you find out.
