Question about programing keyless entry

I have a question about programing keyless entry.. I should be getting my remote the end of this week I dont want to pay Nissan to program it cause they want to charge 40$ to do it.. Is there a way I can do it myself??? IF anyone know PLEASE tell me I want the remote but I dont want to be out 130$ for buying the remote and them programing it.. I have a 96 Pathfinder 5 speed 4 wheel drive.. any help with it would be greatly appreciated..

I had my remote - replaced and Nissan programmed it for FREE. there is a Button on the Remote Controller under the Drivers sit. Look the posting on this site -- I printed it out tonight for future reference -- search user "unossingh"
