I have a 96 Explorer XLT 4x4 with both remote fob entry and keypad on the driver's door entry. I've found the grey box in the back by the jack storage and located the five digit factory code. I can tap in the five diget code and get a click from the system.

Now what?

Where can I find the proper way to program the keypad entry with a personal code, lock or unlock all doors, lights, and all the other bells and whistles that Ford must have put into this system? I do not have the owner's manual.

Thanks in advance

you need to enter the 5 digit factory code then push 1-2 within 5 seconds. then enter your personal 5 digit code within 5 second. you should be all set.

that factory code will always work. if you push 6-7 and 8-9 at the same time it will lock the doors. if you punch in the factory code or the code you programed it will unlock the doors
