Lsdudelblue 03-30-2004, 07:45 PM What does a limited slip do exactly? and is it worth the money involved in purchasing one? CivicSpoon 03-30-2004, 07:57 PM Keeps you car from doing a 1 wheel peel when you launch your car. It makes both wheels (front in most H/A cases of course) spin at relatively the same time (or same time) so you're getting traction with both wheels as opposed to having 1 wheel have more grip and using most of the power for itself. It should improve quarter mile timeswith a balance of power going to both sides of the car. If you're willing to spend the $ on it then I'd say go for it. I have friends with Phantom Grip LSD's and they swear by them. Hope I explained that correctly and understandably. whtteg 03-31-2004, 10:59 PM They help a great deal in drag racing once you start making more power but they make a drastic imporvement in Auto X or any type of road racing. shaunthebadass 04-01-2004, 08:58 AM i say go with the lsd. im getting it whtteg 04-01-2004, 06:43 PM i say go with the lsd. im getting it That is the dumest comment ever!
