My problem...

I bought a 1995 Mazda Protege LX from a used car dealership yesterday. So far I have had these problems.
- It died 4 times. Once when coming to a stop, 3 times when going in reverse. It hasn't died since yesterday when I put some fuel injector cleaner in it. Maybe that worked?
- It's making kind of a knocking noise whenever I slow down from going a high speed. It sounds like it's coming from the back tires. Not sure though.
- The back breaks seem to be grinding. It also makes a slight squeking noise whenever I let off the break.
- I popped the hood today, and there was oil in spots there shouldn't be oil. There was some on the hood, and some near the headlights, and just some in random spots. There was also some on the ground when I moved the car.
The car has 145,000 miles. I am taking it to a trusted mechanic on Monday. I already called the dealer and he said he would fix it, but he was not nice about it, so I'm not going to trust somebody who sold me a piece of junk car to fix it. Any suggestions or comments?

Did you notice any of this before you bought the car? If you bought the car "AS IS," you're pretty much stuck with it. I know that in Ohio, where I bought my Protege, they require that the dealer give the buyer 30 days bumper-to-bumper warranty on any new or used car. However, they don't do that here in Kentucky. You need to check whether or not your state requires a warranty or not. If they do, then the dealer will have to take care of all your problems.
