Repairing damage

Went toe to toe with a deer at 45 miles an hour.(T-boned) Not much damage but I have to replace the right front fender. To get at one of the screws I have to take the driverside wiper arm off. Any ideas on how these come off?

I asked this question in the how to and installation section but got slapped around and sent here.

Thanks!

The end of the arm is covered by a very thin plastic cap that has to be pried off. It's so thin that it's hard to get something to grab it without catching the underside of the arm itself instead, so be patient. From there it's just a nut underneath and the arm comes off. You can then remove the rubber seal from the front of the cowl and pry the cowl off, it's just held in place by several plastic pins.

This should be pretty helpful:

See, I ain't all piss and vinegar. And FWIW, Schlud ain't all sugar and spice:

Flyfish,
Little tip for you...before removing the wiper out of the socket, put a nice little line of tape on your Windshield where the wiper currently sits so you can re-install the wiper on the same spline as it once was...
