Insalling a door handle

Hey all.

The door handle on my 2003 XTerra got busted off, and so I bought a replacement. I've tried to install it myself, but am having a heck of a time. :banghead: Has anyone had any experience with this?

If I can't get it in by tomorrow I'm off to the dealership. I hate to go there though for such a small thing. Any advice would be appreciated.
