front crossmember

I'm looking extremely in depth to a WRX transplant right now since I'm finding them with turbo and all and 30k on them for about 1 grand. I'll bolt it up to my automatic trannie for the time being. My question is on the front crossmember though. Can I use a WRX crossmember, or do I have to find one out of an old legacy turbo? How hard will it be to replace the crossmember?
