How much boost can i safely use on a d16z6 with stock internals? 5.5 psi just isnt cutting it for me, i want to mess with the wastegate and maybe get about 9... is that too much?

Are you running N20 on your setup?
Anyway I would not go above 8psi if the internals are stock. :2cents:

my boy is runnin 8 psi on his and that about all I would do and its been pretty dependable hes had the kit on the car for over a year now so i agree 8psi.

right now the n20 is just spraying on the intercooler, but i heard that if i connect it to the intake pipe before the turbo it will spool instantly, so im thinkin of trying that... anyway 8psi sounds great cause im running 5.5 right now and it really strong.
