Differences in BilsteinsXBBO 12-17-2003, 12:06 AM What are the differences between the 10% and 20% stiffer 5100 series Bilsteins? And any pros and cons on both or either? Sorry if this has already been posted. I spent a while looking for it and didnt find anything. Thanks evergreen 12-17-2003, 12:38 AM the 10% stiffer are just a basic upgrade. the 20% stiffer are mainly used for people that are planning on or already run an aftermarket bumper. the 20% really helps compensate the extra weight of the bumper and allows for greater control in corners and such. either the 10% or the 20% is a massive improvement over stock. its by far the biggest bang for the buck mod you can do. O3XE 09-23-2004, 11:25 AM How come only spencer low racing sells 20% stiffer 5100's; from what I can find anyway? Also I have an 03 but they are listed for 00-02. I assume they fit an 03 too. Is that wrong? OffroadX 09-23-2004, 03:49 PM Dunno, guess nobody else feels that anyone would want 20% stiffer. I have them, and they are a bit more than most would tolerate on your typical road, pretty jittery, but they do soak up the big "whoops" nicely and really become all-around nice when the vehicle is loaded down a bit. Yes, the 03/04 has not changed shock-wise. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
