speedometer problems

just got my car back from the body shop, it was being repaired due to a front end collision. my check engine light is on and the speedometer doesn't work? is this a related problem or a coincidence? thanks in advance. -steve

check your speedo cable. The clip that holds it in might have popped off and your speedo cable might just be sitting in your tranny

turns out we had a cracked circuit board in the dash.
